By the time the warrior monks arrived, the bandits were already tired from fighting the merchant guards.

Caught between both groups, with no horses to escape on, they stood no chance. Even their feared leader finally dropped his sword in surrender.

Without horses or leaders, the remaining bandits in the mountains lost their power.

The monastery's warriors hunted them down one by one.

Now, for the first time in years, the mountain paths and villages were safe.
